On November 07 2007, Meryl Streep, Robert Redford and Tom Cruise sat down with Diane Sawyer for a hilariously
funny interview about "Lions for Lambs", its impact on its viewers and what their children -
or grand children - had to say about the film. A day later, Good Morning America aired another
interview with Meryl alone, in which she reflected on her career and political views. Clips
where shown from a vintage appearance on GMA in 1990 together with her two daughters, a
scene from her appearance in "Alice at the Palce" from 1981 and some rare video footage
from her childhood (the same that was shown on the AFI tribute in 2004).

What have you seen when college kids have seen the film?
Redford: The younger the student, it seemed to me, the more energized.
Streep: My sixteen-year-old and her friends liked the movie, the screening "the best",
which I take to be the, first of all, the highest compliment because there is no tougher
critic. But also great good hope for interest in talking about stuff.
Redford: Yeah my sixteen-year-old... grand child (laughter) had the same reaction.
Suri (Tom Cruise's baby) has had no comments?
Cruise: No...
Streep: She had a lot of comments on the set though.
Did she babble?
Streep: Yes... over my lines! (laughter)
