(The Hours) by the Golden Satelite Award, which gave 5 nominations to "The Hours" and
4 nods to "Adaptation". Awards will be handed out on January 12, 2003.

According to Variety, stars from Broadway and Hollywood, including Kevin Kline, Bette Midler, Robin
Williams and Meryl Streep, will take part in a one-night-only event to
raise money to create the Jay Monahan Center for Gastrointestinal Health at New
York-Presbyterian Hospital
The evening is entitled "42nd & Vine ... Hollywood Hits Broadway" and will be
held at New York's Waldorf-Astoria Hotel on Tuesday, November 12. The many
performers will offer selections from Leonard Bernstein and
Stephen Sondheim's "West Side Story".

Tribeca Film Festival makes debut in New York

Hollywood luminaries Robert De Niro, Martin Scorsese, Meryl Streep and Edward Burns,
present the first Tribeca Film Festival as a forum for emerging filmmakers and a
means of stimulating economic activity in an a neighborhood that was hard hit after

hosted by Meryl Streep that looks at how New York is placed as a backdrop in motion pictures.
A&E executives said the special could serve as a pilot for a periodic series about movies and
