Here are some fantastic on-set and promotional pictures from some of Meryl’s previous films – Doubt, Adaptation, Plenty and Sophie’s Choice – all shot by the marvelous Brigitte Lacombe. Seriously, how many of these pictures is she holding back? :-) Here’s hoping that one day she will publish a book with all the images she’s taken of Meryl’s films throughout the years. On a sidenote, I’m not entirely sure if the black & white picture of Meryl in her dressing room is really from the set of “Adaptation” – what would be your guess?

They’re all pretty fantastic, but I don’t think the b/w pic in the dressing room is from Adaptation.
She’s clearly younger. Sill beautifull anyway.
And I like the b7w pic from Doubt with Amy. I wonder what Meryl has whispered in her ear. *gg*

My second guess for this picture would be the set of “Plenty”, because she resembles some scenes from the last part of the film.

the black and white one isn’t from adaptation as it was taken in 1993.

After carefully looking at her hair and makeup in the other shots, I feel that the black&white one very likely IS from Adaptation. It is just done in the artsy way BL does many of her shots. I, too, would LOVE a book done of Meryl by BL!

I also think it looks a lot like ‘Postcards’ or maybe ‘Defending your Life’ but I would say Postcards, anyway it’s stunning.
I have to say there is another one in the Adaptation section that doesn’t seem to belong there, the one where she’s sitting on the sofa, to me that looks like either ‘Stuck on You’ or from the time around ‘Evening’ / ‘Rendition’…

She looks just like that in a scene in ‘Postcards from the Edge’ to me. I can’t be certain, but I’m sure it’s not Adaption.

The one in B&W is just wow… OMG she is so but so PERFECT! But I’m not quite sure if it is from the set of adaptation… Maybe from 90s something between she devil and death becomes her! I don’t know, although her hair is shorter in this photo than in the films… But man she is breathtaking in this one <3

Yes I thought that can’t possibly be from the set of Adaptation. I think maybe early 90′s or late 80′s

I hope that BL will publish a book about Meryl one day as well. It would be a blast! :D
