24 NEW VIDEO CLIPS

Wow, big update! :-) I've uploaded Meryl's speech from the AFI Life Achievement Award as well as ten interview clips from the show. Also new are some very interesting interview clips from documentaries on "Kramer vs. Kramer" (6 clips), "Out of Africa" (5 clips) and the Clint Eastwood special "Out of the Shadows" (2 clips). They're all in the Multimedia section :-)

Meryl attended the Mentors Walk: Creating the New Girls Network, photos from the event can be found in the Image Library. I also uploaded 7 new video clips, all interviews from the making of "The Manchurian Candidate" and "Death Becomes Her". Plus, Annie has sent me another great bunch of avatars and a great wallpapers. All creations can be found in the Multimedia section.


"LEMONY SNICKET" DVD CAPS

The Image Library and the Media files are back, too, so the site is complete again :-) Uploaded to the Gallery are, as promised, the caps of "Uncommon Women... and Others", thanks again to Carole. Also new are some awesome DVD caps of the just released "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events", contributed by Mariana. You two are the best! Enjoy the pics.


MERYL STREEP TO STAR IN "MOTHER COURAGE"

According to Playbill News, Meryl will be seen in yet another stage production: During a press conference announcing the Public Theater 2005-06 season, new artistic director Oskar Eustis revealed that film star Meryl Streep will headline a new production of Brecht's classic Mother Courage, to be staged in Central Park in summer 2006. FORUM IS BACK!

As the headline says, the Forum is back :-) I moved it to another, better server so hopefully there won't be any downtimes in the future. Photo and video updates will have to wait until these sections are working again, that should be done in the next few days, just take a look at it from time to time. In the meantime, there is a new article from the Sunday Post, contributed by its author, Darryl Smith, and some new artwork, including terriffic avatars by Annie. Thanks very much!

Sorry guys, the server got hacked, AGAIN, that's why the Forum and all files located on the server (photos and videos) can't be accessed (nerve wrecking, isn't it?) Cross your fingers that it's working again this weekend, I'll do my best!

Meryl attended "Poetry & the Creative Mind" yesterday, a couple of photos can be found in the Image Library. Also new are some clippings, most of them contributed by Clara, from various events and awards. There are also two new galleries from the 1997 Museum of Moving Images' Tribute to Goldie Hawn and from the 1990 Mothers and Others Concert (thanks Alvaro) And finally, three cool wallpapers made by Carole

MARCIA GAY HARDEN AND JOHN GOODMAN JOIN "NEW EAR"

According to ContactMusic.com, Oscar-winner Marcia Gay Harden and John Goodman have joined the star-studded cast of "Theater of the New Ear" (which will be also taped for later broadcast on satellite radio) - in New York City on 28-30 April (05). They will join the previous announced actors in a reading of "Sawbones" by filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen and "Hope leaves the Theater", by Charlie Kaufman. Both Harden and Goodman starred with Meryl in "The Seagull".

Finally, here's the new layout :-) I hope you all like it, there's much new to discover. First of all, and most important, detail sites on all of Meryl's productions, featuring her films, stage plays as well as television appearances and recordings, filled with information, photos, link, videos and much more. Visit the Career section to access the pages. The Image Library is now expanded with photoshoots and rare stills from her films and behind the scenes as well as current appearance photos and some very exclusive captures from her early television appearances (from the 70's and 80's), contributed by Rona. That all is not completed yet, be sure that more will follow. Also, there are new video clips, including Meryl's and Renee Zellweger's 1998 appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
