February 22, 2003. Meryl Streep received a Honorary Cesar Award. The award was presented to Streep by Nathalie Baye, who, 20 years earlier, was presented with her own Cesar Award by Streep.
February 08, 2003. Meryl Streep accepts the BAFTA for Best Screenplay on behalf of Charlie Kaufman. She was also a double nominee this year for "Adaptation" and "The Hours".
January 19, 2003. Meryl Streep won the Golden Globe as Best Supporting Actress for "Adaptation" and was nominated as Best Actress in a Drama for "The Hours". The latter film also won Best Picture Drama.
