Created in 1999, Simply Streep is your premiere online resource on Meryl Streep's extensive work on film, television and the theatre - a career that is unmatched in modern
film and that has won her numerous accolades, including three Academy Awards, and the praise to be one of the world's greatest working actresses. At Simply Streep, we
have built an extensive collection to discover Miss Streep's work through an archive of press articles, pictures and videos, alongside information on the charities
and causes she supports. There is much to discover, so enjoy your stay.
Many additional pictures have been added to the Berlinale galleries. The reception of the Honorary Golden Bear took place between the film’s premiere and the screening of “The Iron Lady”. Jury member and presenter Jake Gyllenhaal, who has been a childhood friend of Meryl’s son, shared some funny stories about how strict Meryl was as a mother, before handing her the award. Video clips from all events will be added later today, including the press conference, the awards ceremony and various interviews from German television. Check back later!
"Extrapolations" depicts the effects of climate change on the planet through various different points of view through interconnected
stories. On AppleTV+ starting March 17.
