As earlier reported, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Anna Kendrick have joined Ellen DeGeneres on her show to promote the theatrical release of “Into the Woods”. As always on Ellen, this has been a funny interview with anecdotes from the film and a round of “Heads-up”. Edit: A great quality video has been added to the video archive with screencaptures being added to the image library.

Meryl Streep is my idol i love her i have probably seen Mamma Mia about 20-30 times someday i would like to meet her. The day i meet Meryl Streep is the day i will jump off a 15 foot cliff into the water at brookstone. Meryl has an amazing voice and has great pitch when it comes to high notes. No matter what people say she will be one of my favorites

Meryl is such a wonderful sport, as instanced when Ellen tried to do a retake of the “selfie” and they all deliberately blocked out Meryl as happened at the Oscars. Mind you, the final picture Ellen took showed Meryl as the happy buoyant and joyful person she is. What a pleasure it must be for anyone who is fortunate enough to meet her and laugh with her and to feel the benefit of her love and care.
