Who thought we would once have a video on Simply Streep that’s labeled red band and not safe for work? Thank Julia Roberts in this new scene published from the film, in which she tells Violet to eat her fucking fish. The scene also features Ivy (Julianne Nicholson) who’s trying to make a confession, if anyone would listen. Be aware that you might spoil your delight in the theatre if you watch it beforehand, but the scene is great and Roberts shows a powerful performance, so who could resist.

Meryl Streep plays the matriarch of the ultimate dysfunctional family in August: Osage County, and she tells ET’s Rob Marciano that she was reluctant to play such a mean-spirited person onscreen, a characterthat co-star Julia Roberts said set “the new gold standard for cruelty”;! Based on Tracy Letts’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play, August: Osage County tells the dark, hilarious and deeply touching story of the strong-willed women of the Weston family, whose lives have diverged until a family crisis brings them back to the Midwest house they grew up in, and to the dysfunctional woman who raised them. Directed by John Wells and in theaters everywhere Christmas Day, the film also stars Ewan McGregor, Benedict Cumberbatch, Abigail Breslin, Dermot Mulroney, Juliette Lewis, Sam Shepard and Chris Cooper.

Here comes my favorite part of early film promotion – new video clips! A fourth scene, again from the Weston’s dinner table, has been posted by Yahoo Movies. And the Weinstein Company starts launching its official clips with the b-roll (unfortunately just a lot of getting in and out of cars) and Meryl’s interview on the film, her character and working with Julia Roberts, Margo Martindale and Benedict Cumberbatch. Enjoy the new clips. HD captures from the interview and the b-roll have been added to the image library as well.

When Sir Paul McCartney calls, Hollywood answers — as was the case with shooting his new Queenie Eye music video. “I didn’t quite know who would be in it and people started to show up,” said Paul. Those “people” included Meryl Streep, Jude Law, Johnny Depp, Kate Moss and Chris Pine! “It’s turning Abbey Road into a little party zone, which is fine by me,” said Paul. The setting for the video, Abbey Road, is the same studio where Paul McCartney recorded many songs with The Beatles, including their first single, Love Me Do. The Queenie Eye music video will premiere Thursday, October 24 at noon ET on VEVO. The song is featured on New, out now, which marks Paul’s first album of new solo material in six years.

Days after the film’s world-premiere at the Torono International Film Festival, a second theatrical trailer for “August: Osage County” has been released. It features quite a few new scenes and gives each player a deserving spot. Head over to the video archive to watch the new trailer.

Surprisingly, this trailer is even a bit more lighthearted and cheerful than the first one. Given the film’s darker theme and dysfunctional family setting, one would have guessed a darker trailer as well. Additionally, the new scenes from the trailer have been capped an added to the image library. Since they’re added to the already existing screencaptures album, the new additions start on page three.
